The
Taste of Country &
Peddlers Fest 2001 was held July 13 & 14, 2001. The
event begins Friday morning with Peddlers in the Park. From
9a.m. to 5p.m., crafters and flea market vendors alike set up to
sell their goods. Later that evening at 6p.m., Park
Naturalist Marilyn Weiler leads participants on a hike, followed
by a bon fire with story telling and music. (Photo:

Saturday
saw more vendors in the craft section, and also the arrival of
COSI on Wheels. From 11a.m. to 5p.m., COSI workers presented
a hands-on program entitled Agriculture Adventures. A
special show was presented at 2:30p.m. in the amphitheatre.

planned activities included bluegrass music, gospel musicThe event also featured displays from
the Morrow County Farm Bureau and the Morrow
County Dairy Association, Morrow County Antique Tractor &
Equipment Association and even the Fire Dept. traveling
